Here's a pic I've been messing with that has some front air inlet openings. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call them scoops. All opinions welcome..(it's not as if the Pontiac stylists are going to use the idea)

No offense - but that's ugly to me. Not to mention I still like the stock car better than the autocross version myself.

No problem, I asked for honest opinions. After looking at it again today it looks like a Neon SR4T.... <_< . I messed with it some more and took the scoops out of the lower grill and it looks better, not so busy. We'll just have to wait and see what Pontiac gives us.

ok, smooth, since you asked...I've been workin' the pixels anyway..(it's freakin' cold here). I couldn't come up with any brake cooling scoops I liked but I did make some wide rear tire pics, so here they are.

You're right, I was in a hurry and posted the same one twice...here's the one I meant to put in.

I have not finished my coffee yet, but could swear those are the same pic...switched back and forth a dozen times trying to find a difference. :unsure:

BTW, that does look good with bigger tires. Lots of folks on the Aus site have put bigger tires on them...lowered them as well. They look great that way.

Hey my first post here, and id like to say that the first pic is ugly, but i like the other pics, they somehow look more muscular then the real GTO, or am i just seeing things?

It sounds like I am in the minority, but your first pick is my favorite.

No rear spoiler definately looks better than the stock spoiler. (I actually think a subtle ducktail spoiler would look good.)

As far as the hood scoops at the front edge of the hood ... I like. It avoids the dual uplevel scoops like the '98-'02 WS6s. It also does not try to do the typical retro '69 dual scoop. It's more of a modern look.

Out of all the scoops I have seen (real or photochoped) I think yours is the best "modern" flair. (Have you seen the new SLP hood for the new Grand Prix? Looks about what you have here.)

The only additional thing I would do would be to give it some new wheels. Not sure what I want exactly, but the stock rims (or the autocross rims) never really did it for me.
