I noticed that the passenger side vents blow much cooler air than the driver's. Anyone else notice this and can it be changed? I wonder if it may be from the dual climate zones in the Australian car and a damper or valve wasn't adjusted correctly for a single climate control? It would be very nice to be able to make the passenger side warmer since my wife is always cold.

Why would they rip the dual climate stuff out for the GTO? Its actually quite usefull and surely isnt a matter of some sort of safety testing.
odd

Keeps the price of the car down and makes production simpler. If the demand is there it may be offered on next year's model.

They could have at least left it as an option or something. I dont think after paying over 33 grand for it that people are going to complain over a couple hundred dollars for dual climate control. Besdies, its really looks much better...I dont think it would change their production costs much cuz the Monaro doesn't even offer a analong set up like the GTO has, its dual only. Hopefully my wait till 2005 will also bring in the sunroof! :woot:

What are you talking about. The manual controls are straight out of the supercharged V6 Monaro.

the V6 Monaro is no longer in production, they dropped it in late 2002 or 2003 i believe. its only the CV8 thats avalible now, and the only one thats offered in the current brocure.
