: GOAT Stickers!
GTOman 02-29-2004, 10:50 AM Yeah.....Basically I would like to know when we are going to start getting some stickers made for our cars. Id love to just put GOAT right on the front of my car. Not really big letters but something nice and kinda small, nothing to draw ALOT of attention......
Orbit Orange 02-29-2004, 11:16 PM Yeah stickers, those will really class up the new GTO.
Guaranteed to add 25 HP per sticker too!
Sorry, I'm cranky tonight and stickers scream ricer ricer ricer ricer ricer RICER !!!! I'm cringing at the thought of a GOAT windshield header right now. It's just one step to a TAZ sticker then Calvin peeing on a Ford emblem.
With that said, sorry I can't help you, hope you find what your'e looking for. I'm in a bad mood tonight and I'm probably being an @$$.
If I ask nicely, pretty pretty please don't sticker up your new GTO. Leave the stickers to the young Ricer wannabe crowd. Your GTO will thank you later for it.
;)
darhl 02-29-2004, 11:59 PM I think there are better things to do with my money than buy stickers to put on a GOAT. A nice cup of espresso for instance.
GTOman 03-03-2004, 07:17 PM lol......its just one sticker......dont make stickers plural. And frankly im getting tired of v8 owners bashin not ricers...but Honda and toyota drivers. There's a 4 cyclinder market just like their is a V8 market. If they beat you in their turboed car your going to get mad about that? well turbo your car........The stuff i see around here in michigan is just terrible as far as hate on imports. ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS.....can someone just give credit to their work? even if you dont like their car or not....
Orbit Orange 03-03-2004, 10:50 PM Sorry about my cranky response the other night. Glad to hear it's just a windshield header decal too. I'm sure they will pop up soon.
can someone just give credit to their work?
I can give credit where credit is due and some if not many import drivers and tuners do a nice job. How's that?
With that said there are tons that don't and litter up their "Too Fast Too Furious" 18 second turds with as many performance decals they can find. Hence giving the legit tuners a bad rap. Besides I'm into clean lines and an uncluttered sleeper image anyway so the stickers just grate on me the wrong way.
It's all about philosophy, some people like to look bold on the outside when on the inside they have nothing while others would prefer a more sedate image with the goods to lay down the smack. And still others like both. It's all preference.
Can anyone else help our man here? Do we have any windshield header decals yet? :D
Iron Horse 03-05-2004, 08:03 PM Are you refering to something like this?
I wouldn't say it looks ricey. But that's not for me. I'd have to agree with Orbit Orange and go with the clean look. Again it's only preference. If I was younger then maybe I'd go for that kind of look. JMO.
kingkong401 04-30-2004, 02:27 AM That would be my car. If it was "ricey" it would not be on my car. I hate Ricers. Like you said if you were young you might do that for that look, well i am 18. If you would like to know i had a friend make it on the computer and print it out on vinal. I am working on a new one to make it match the rest of the lettering on the car. More stretched out and better looking.

A triple venti, two-raw sugar cappuccino, please?
Hold the sticker.
Oh, BTW! Had two kids in a riced Civic try to race me from a stoplight last night. Then they pulled up to me at the next light and the driver shouted across that he used to have "the Camaro with the 5.8 liter engine outta the Z06" and that he wouldn't want a GTO because it is gonna cost me $1000 for a tune-up. Then he punched it as the light turned green and made the first right, only to have a black-and-white pulled out behind him! No blue lights right away, at least...
formula79 04-30-2004, 03:22 PM I have never been a fan of the "GOAT" nickname...I could see something on the rear windows that says "The Great One" though...
redgtosamurai 05-02-2004, 10:23 PM I'll be adding a GTO sticker to mine when I pick it up in the next couple of days. A friend of mine has his own graphics shop and did my Grand AM...

I'll be getting a full body kit and either a stylish paint job or "stickers" to add flavor to the GTO as it will be going into the show circuit. Since the circuit is heavy in imports, the graphics will be an eye catcher BUT will reflect the oldschool muscle car theme.
If you're interested in windshield stickers, drop me an e-mail...
(bogeystar@earthlink.net)
and I'll hook you up with my buddy.

How could you not like the goat nickname. Its not dissing the GTO its said with love. I also love the Great one nickname to. Either one is fine.
NEXSTAR7 03-05-2006, 05:30 PM i've seen a guy with silver gto with black stripes. looks very nice.
Donno 03-14-2006, 10:32 AM I have to agree with most of the posts, even though I wouldn't mind someone making a "Judge" performance package, including some retro emblems included in the package.........

Hmm, neat. MAILBOX LETTERING. How original.
formula79 04-11-2006, 11:38 PM The GTO font is Trebarcht (sp?) streached out. I have used it alot for the site.
Jizz has an "interesting" decal of an actual Goat that I think is neat.
