I saw the trailer on tv tonight....nice... now i just went to the website and watched it again... you will see a red car go across the screen at one point, i got a screen shot of it, its not very clear but going by the front grill, i'd swear it was the Autocross version :):):):)

I have a small screen shot added so i hope this works... second opinions??

GOOD: they're using the GTO as the main frame

BAD: Looks hella cheesy

When the only actor I recognize is the GTO you can't expect too much :)

Saw a gorgeous drop-top Jag downtown the other day. As I'm standing on the sidewalk admiring it, Dennis Hopper walks up and climbs behind the wheel. Pretty cool...

So i took a wander on over to the Internet Movie DataBase (imdb.com (http://imdb.com/name/nm0000454/)) to see more on this Dennis Hopper guy, he has 149 credits and i only recognize 3 of them, of which I have not seen either of the two movies nor have i played GTA: Vice City...

Must be an American thing... cos I still don't know him :):)

He became famous for "Easy Rider". My two favorites are "Blue Velvet" and "Kid Blue"

There is something that I can't figure out. Who's car is the red GTO that is seen in the preview?

It is obviously not the '69 GTO. The GTO that appears to be the other main vehicle is a black '04 GTO. So, what is the story with this red one?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Any GTO fan is going to love this. Im sure most people here have seen XXX in which a 67 fathom blue GTO stole alot of the screen time and literaly saved the world. Not only that but the main charecter in the movie takes the GTO over a bunch of brand new ferraris( my kind of guy). Before that he says the cars on that list suck as to alude to why he added the GTO to it. Plus we pontiac fans cant forget that Vin drove a vette of the bridge( he told the camera in that scene that it wasnt his style). I was lucky enough to see that car in person at a local Pontiac dealers grand reopening. I brought my 64 and the guy let me sit in it. It was awsome :D

If all goes as planned, I hope to be attending the movie premier next week. (Benefit of my wife being in entertainment...) I am planning to take a goat-load of pictures, as they plan to have as many as nine GTOs at the event. On Wednesday, I did see some great aftermarket-equipped 2004 GTOs being prepped for the premier. Two vehicles appeared to have full body kits and hoods, as well as being lowered. I will post images afterward.

I attended a 'dealer preview' for the 'Last Ride' on Thursday night. It is a must see.I came away really enjoying all but one part(I won't say what). Nice story feature, great chase scenes.Definately not a 2-hour commercial for Pontiac like I thought it might have been. I will say though, there are -3- new GTOs in movie!
