OK, obviously "old" and "young" is totally subjective, as is your definition of "style" vs. "understated." I have intentionally avoided mentioning numbers or scoops or whatever (oops! ;) ) but I think everyone, in their heart-of-hearts, knows which category they fall into.

Ford has a "crammer" V8 and a rwd conversion kit for a Focus (i have one)... i think its about a $30k conversion....but **** a stock looking "understated" Focus and a 400hp V8 would surely cause lots of jaw dropping as you blow people off at the lights etc :)

Understated is fun... you can have as much power as you like and no one really notices it... add on all the extra bits and then people expect "fast" and arent as impressed/shocked by it.

Mind you "understated" and Ferrari or Lamborgini or Porsche or Saleen etc don't go together :)
