Actually, I'm from New England. But unlike you, I refused to swallow all the Liberal blather without questioning them every step of the way. Guess what, they have no answers, just insults, sarcasm, distortion, and an unhealthy disrespect for facts, so I moved to Texas.

But obviously, YOU swallow.

P.S. Keep your negativity in the Asylum. I did nothing to bait you on THIS topic, although I've got you biting every time in the other. Childs play.

That's purty dang South. If y'all git it in yer craw to come on up to H-town, yer fixin' drive a piece but it really aint no hill for a stepper.

(sorry, just had to do that for 1964GTO, so he could have something more to ridicule and achieve a more superior state of inner creaminess and smootherization)

Yep, it's down ther a bit :) I'm originally from metro Detroit.
I think Houston is about a 2 1/2 hr drive from where where I'll be. Maybe we can meet up sometime in Spring '05. I saw that Houston has an auto show for the new cars comming out every year. Any other good car shows there?

 If you think bush lies, im guessing you think kerry has never told a lie ever in his life. :jumpon:
(he's prolly said more in the last week than bush has said in his time in the white house :hysterical: :P )
Bush is very truthful. He is also inteligent. I hate it when people go "Bush is an idiot!" they are ignorant.

Bush tries to be as truthful as posible but theres always going to be misinformation that the president gets and he will follow it and then it may turn out to of been fals information later on. People make mistakes. But Kerry just plain out lies. He has been caught contridicting himself. He twists reality by telling you he voted for the body armor for troops when he voted against it after. Then he will say he voted for it before he voted against it... WTF IS THAT ****?!?!?

He feeds ignorant people lies and tells those who wish not to see the whole truth only what they want to hear at that time and/or place.

People also can change thier mind based on facts that change... But to do it daily like with Kerry is just rediculous. Thats only telling people what they want to hear and not how you really feel on a matter.

Im shure someone will come back at me against these statements and it will go back and forth untill someone steps in and stops it. This contant going off topic into politics is :bs: BTW. I know i have participated in the talking but i didnt initiate this.

WHOA WHOA WHOA, this topic went WAY out there. This DOES NOT need to turn into a political debate, GoatGerm simply wanted to know if there are any S.texas meet ups, I know 1964 started it but im stopping it. Both sides have had their share of closing statments, so im getting this back ON TOPIC.

Im in the Austin area now, but I have family in Houston, so I go down there from time to time. Tamatt, you have an LT1 in your car?

Yeah, I swapped in an LT1 and T56 in place of the tired 305 and 700R4. I'm just waiting on headers...which I've been waiting on for several months!!
Do you go out to many Austin-Area car gatherings? From the looks of your avatar..you've got a second gen T/A??

well i go down to Corpus often to visit my dad, and I won't be down there until I get my Goat. I'm hopefully gonna be down there with my new car within 6 months, and I woudn't mind a 3 1/2 (that's how long it is) hour drive to Houston. So what does that make 3 or 4 of you down there?

I live in Lee County and I know there is a track called Little River Academy, I think it is Taylor but I am not sure. I know there is one in Navasota, (because I work in Brenham at the Little Creamery) and I know there is one in Sealy but it is only an 1/8th mile. I would like to get a GTO car show together somewhere in Texas but I dont know when or where. Yes it is raining and yes it is suppose to rain for several more days. There is a Cold Front coming through the area sometime this week.

True, its supposed to hit 37 on wednesday night, cold for here but I would hate to see how those northern states are doing.

There were sections of downtown Austin closed due to flooding this morning. It was pretty crazy, but I live on the northside so it hasnt been to bad.

Originally Bay City then Madison Heights to Temple, Temple is about 5.5 hrs from Corpus. Everythings far away in Texas.

Be ready for Honda and Toyota country nothing like Michigan with GM.
Also about 100:1 ratio V6 mustangs to GTs.
