MattyMoGTO 06-21-2004, 03:20 PM This sounds great. The thing is I am looking to lease or smartbuy a new GTO. I was wondering if you can give me a lease deal on the car. I want 0 down except the taxes and that stuff. I want a 3 or maybe 4 year lease with 12or 15 thousand miles. If you could give me a price that would be great. The only thing is i live in NY and would have to ship it. I am not pickey on color or tranny( anything but silver and purple is cool). I just want to know how much. If i like the price than ill chose the color.
I think i will be turning my current leased car in soon. I am very serious about the car so see what you can do. Thanks.
What transmission do you want? Also where exactly in NY do you live? More than likely it will cost $660 to ship the car to you.

I live on Long Island in Suffolk county. I cant make up my mind on the tranny. If you can price up a lease deal with both that would be great. The Island is very congested and driving a manual may get annoying. My wife also dosent drive stick so thats another problem. Shipping of 660 dosent sound bad. The car will still be cheaper than buying from out here. They wanted 3,000 over sticker and finally lowered it to MSRP. So if you could give me a quote on both trannys that would be great. I am thinking i want black or red as my first choice.

I have decided on a 6 speed so if you can price that up it would be great.

I am checking into it.
Thanks for your help. As soon as you get the lease price or deal notify me. I am serious and my car is over the miles and will be turning it in over the summer. Thanks for your help again. :)
MattyMoGTO 06-25-2004, 10:34 AM Also i heard about this Gm employee lease deal in another part of the forum. Sounds good. It was 399/ 24 months 1899 due at signing. Very attractive. I would take 39 so my payments would drop right there. If something like this is doable, i would consider.
Ok here is the scoop on the lease. I do have a guy that I use here in town his name is Kyle Arvizu his number is 469-879-5953. All you need to tell him you are working with me Jason Feuerberg at Sewell my number is 214-956-3776. You need to tell him what I am selling the car for which is 31,188.79. He has a bank that can do a lease in New York because New Yorks leases are different than any other state in the country. I have 6 speeds in stock so that is not a problem. Also I have not heard of any GM lease program at all employee or not. Just give Kyle a call and then tell him exactly how many years and miles you want. Let me know what he says so we can move forward.
Thanks,
Jason Feuerberg

Awsome. The terms I want are as follows, 39 months, 15,000 miles, 0 down but the taxes and all that other stuff. I want to keep the payments in the mid 300s( if i have to go 4 year to achive this than i might do it). This is great news for you guys.
1964GTO 06-26-2004, 03:07 PM also is the program avaliable in NY.
Alright I have the numbers. I am making this public because this is the deal I would do for anyone. Sales price is $31,188.79 for a 6 speed car at supplier price. The GM deal is a Smartbuy and I can not do a straight lease because of NY state and GM doesn't offer it. With $2860 which covers tax and now that is Texas tax not NY so it gives you and idea I have to get the exact tax rate in NY but with that money down your payments at 15K for 48 months is $489.26 a month and that $2860 covers taxes and shipping. The residual is 40% and the interest rate is 5.5%. On a 36 month deal with the same money down it is $552 a month. Those are the only options offered from GM.

I think thats high. I can get a trailblazer, CTS, GTP for cheaper and there all in the low 30s. Hell I can get a base SRX for less money than this GTO if i lease( a total base model SRX can be leased in the mid 400s for only 39 months and this car costs 38+). The GTO is a great car know doubt but i am not going to pay signifiantly more for it than any other GM vehicle in the same price range. Still better than the deals. GM was doing before the program. I will wait to september than. By than the 04 will be looking pretty bad and the 05 will get all the attention.
1964GTO 06-26-2004, 10:22 PM Also what is the buy out at the end of this. This car should be going for in the high 300s on a 3 year lease( 400 tops). I can get a G35 for the high 300s.
MattyMoGTO 06-27-2004, 09:49 PM I think the lease is to pricey considering the cost of the car. I think ill wait until september when there cheap or get a better 05 GTO.
Sorry guys that is just the info I received. They will probably be coming out with other programs later this year.

Yes but all of those cars have been out for a little while and the Cadillacs GM puts all the incentives on their Smartbuys so you just have to be patient with the GTO. Also right now the Grand Prix is the Pontiac you want to buy if you want a less expensive payment.

Thanks for your help. Right know the GTPs are alot better to lease. I will wait until the car gets cheaper in september probably. The leases are getting better but still pricey.
To add one more thing this is not a true "Lease". The numbers I showed you was a "Smartbuy" which is similar to a lease where you have a residual value but at the end of the lease period you have a chance to buy the vehicle back and you own the car from the time you drive off the lot. On the title is your name not a banks name. I just wanted to clarify that.

GM dosent do leases anymore. Leases are better than smartbuys because you put less tax down. Smartbuys kill you on the tax. Pretty much the same thing though. I assumed you meant smartbuy though.
1964GTO 07-07-2004, 10:05 AM Whenever the lease or smartbuy deals get better feel free to tell me. I am still looking. Thank you Jay.
