Driving down the street yesterday i run into the 2 guy's in a late model Z28. Only mod i could see was exhaust. We glance at each other and its on B)

I am A4 and it looked like he was M6. I turned the traction control off and held the the beast in a crouch at about 2000 RPM's light turned and i SLAMMED it. It was only about a quarter mile to the next light and i had him by 3/4 of a car length. :zap: That sure got the heart pumping. I thought he was goihg to take me, but the Goat came out on top.

Of course you would have taken the Stang by more than 3/4 carlength. :)

M6 0 to 60 in 5.3 secs
A4 0 to 60 in 5.4 secs


However, they don't tell you that the M6 driver probably is the best shifter in the world. I know I couldn't achieve that 5.3 seconds time. I'm a lousy shifter. I think autos will always win especially when pitted against an inexperienced nervous driver. One mishift from 2nd to 3rd and you hit 5th instead, race is over. And its very easy to do that with the goat's longass slot machine like shifter.

The good driver mod is the best bang for the buck. The A4 may be consistant but it cant powershift, downshift to any specific gear, and has to rely on a torque convertor.

You can have a auto perform as well as a good driven M6, but it costs money.

Very nice kill. Any body encounter any other fbodys in there GTOs.

I over- revved against one and I felt like an dumess. only mistake so far. I was using bad judgement anyway. I'll see em again and restore my integrity.

Im assuming you hit the rev-limiter...I think we've all done that at one time or another.
