Check out this thread. It is the "Autocross" kit. The pics are of a Barbados Blue GTO which will not be available in 05 but the parts are the same. Front, Rear and side fascias and a slightly different spoiler and different grille inserts.

I imagine they are put on in place of the originals, not cut and glued into place.

I strongly disagree. If you take a good look at the front bumper and rear bumper you could easily imagine where the stock ends and the adition starts. With the exception of the side skirts I'd say this Autocross kit attaches onto the stock fascia.

True they Cooould do it pretty easily, but I imagine it would lead to poor fitment and quality issues, I havn't known GM to just glue on new body peices. I'd say that they are in place of not glued on.

But its a moot point as there isnt any way to tell untill they are out.

Okay I'll buy that, but when hey make them I'll bet one of the ingredients is a stock front and rear bumber.

This photo is purported to show the the actual bumper from the production appearance package. Looks like they changed it from a add-on part to a complete fascia replacment. Doesn't look to shabby either (nicer than the stock 05 rear I think)..

i like it better as well. Although i think the stock 05 rear is still better than the stock 04 rear.

Luckily, 04 owners can get these put on their cars as well. Also, I just saw the Autoweek article that says Pontiac is thinking of offering the 05 scoops on 04s to boost sales..

I dont like that rear end, the Mustang style GTO lettering is a bit much as it also says GTO right above it on the enblem.

I like it alot. The "GTO" fills in the huge empty space, and overall it was very well done. This should have been the stock 05 bumper.

Any word on if the kit will be available seperatly or as an option on any of the other colors? Saddly I dont want a red, silver or black GTO but i'd rather like to see the Impulse Blue with the Autocross option, even if it is only the front/side pieces. (It truely helps the front end look different and better without looking aftermarket or like something you'd see on an import.)

I believe the facia is supposed to be the same as the GTO Autocross car from SEMA last year.
