So how long till we can place an order for an 05 GTO?

More importanly, how long will we have to wait to take delivery?

Going of the 04 preorders, and production run, the 05's will start to be built towards November to January. People started getting the 04's in December if you were real early, and most people got them towards the spring.

Production of the 05 has already started I'm told. Expect to see them around November or December.

I'm still waiting to hear from a dealer on specifics of how to place an order and when to expect delivery. Or if it will be better to just try and find one on a dealer lot to ensure I get mine as soon as possible.

Hoping this isn't too far off the thread, but I went to try to order an 05 last night and was told they aren't able to take orders until the "specs" are received. Any info or advice?

Try a different dealer. Some people have orders with paperwork.
