Some may remember when I took delivery march 30 there was only one key fob with the car. My dealer promptly got in touch with Pontiac and it took them about three weeks to get a KEY (the fob was sent right away). Anyway, it was taken care of but it left me believing somebody out there had a way to unlock and drive away with my GTO.

Today my dealer told me to stop in as he had a small surprise for me. Of course it was the missing key fob, resurrected from somewhere in the desk of the salesman who accepted the car from the transport driver when it arrived (after business hours). Holy ****! Looks like I was worrying about nothing. Jeez, I would have expected they'd at least buy me a soda for my trouble. Nope.

Oh well, now I have three keyfobs. Isn't that nice? :rolleyes:

It is nice, I think, given the cost of a replacement!

Absolutely! And it's certainly true I would not want to pay the cost of a replacement.
