My 4 year old nephew and I were discussing the GTO the other day. I was telling him that I was going to get one...

Him: "when do you get it? Tomorrow?" (to a 4 year old everything happens tomorrow)

Me: "oh babe, it's going to take awhile. I may not get it till Christmas"

Him: "why?" (he has no idea when Christmas is...)

Me: "because they have to build in Australia. Do you know where Australia is?"

Him: "yes. They have kangaroos there."

Me: "exactally!" (realizing that he must have watched the movie, Kangaroo Jack)

Him: "do you get a kangaroo with the car?"

Me: laughing

The next day he was sitting next to my mom in the bleachers watching a baseball game and he was telling her about "Aunt ___'s new race car" and how there were kangaroos in Australia building it with one kangaroo on one side with a hammer and another kangaroo on the other side with a hammer. and how eventually, "maybe for Christmas" they'll bring it here so she can buy it...


With that, I bought my nephew a stuffed kangaroo and put it in a little t-shirt that we screen printed GTO onto.


I love my nephew!

Thats funny. Where do kids get that stuff? Everyone knows that the GTO was built by wallabies, not kangeroos. :P
