Just wondering if there are corroborated reports of getting a really good deal on an 04 GTO. I have an 02 Grand AM GT and have been waiting for the right time to look for a GTO; figure the end of the year is best.

What kind of discount or deal should I look for? What is considered a "really good deal" on an 04 GTO?

I am in the same boat you are Sarah. Here in California, we have not been getting the dealer discounts I have read about in some other states. Cheapest I have been quoted here is $31k with the $2k GMAC discount. I am hoping that drops to about $29k in September. That would make a big difference for me. :D

A really good deal is as close to the invoice price as possible. The end of the year is when the dealers are clearing out the previous model year leftovers for the next model year, and if there are a lot of leftovers, dealers will be more willing to negotiate on the price.
