Granatelli claims 12-15 hp gain at the wheel for 2004 GTO. Can anyone back this up?

I got one for my Grand Am GT and it really pulls...but the only thing I didn't like was that it was a larger diameter than the OEM MAF. Had to fabricate special tubing to fit it.

It is not neccessary.The stock maf can handle 500hp.The gto has an ls6 intake already and an ls6 block.only the heads are ls1.The exhaust also can handle 500hp and these aftermarket parts have been tested on dyno's with no improvment in hp.Yes the claims are false,but they get away with saying it because the tests are rigged.The only way to increase hp or tork is by getting GM heads for ls6 and cam.Snakeoil salesman had nothing on aftermarket manufacters.95% of whats out there doesn't increase hp and sometimes reduces hp.Free flowing pipes actually reduce power because the LS! needs some back pressure in order to run well.The ODB111 can also handle more power and any computer adjustments only upset the dynamics off smooth operation.

Wow...OK thanks for the advice. I won't be wasting my hardearned $ for that mod.
