2005 Order Info

I got a local dealer to order an 05 for $1,400 over the phone. I went there with my checkbook today and was told, they couldn't actually order them yet. He told me he would call me when he could. I told him that other members on the internet had ordered cars and I didn't understand. He told me that those who said they had ordered, were just "written down" orders and that the computer program will not let a dealership actually enter the order.

I am not so sure I belive this, and I kind of got the idea that they didn't want to sell me one for that price. Upon REQUEST he provided a piece of paper with the agreed price, his signature, his manager's and mine. What do you guys and gals think? Did any of you get a print out....

I ordered my 2005 thru Jason with Sewell. He has not been able to actually place my order yet, he said it keeps getting get kicked back because of the M-6 & the 18" wheel option I asked for. I assume the 1st production run is A-4's.
FYI- if anyone is having problems finding a salesman you can work with I would highly recommend giving Jason a call.

I believe that there are no print outs yet because there is no MSRP pricing yet.

I have an '05 ordered, it was accepted and I have an order number. The dealer has to have received allocation for '05's. Without it, they have to wait.

I have actually seen the confirmation in the system with scheduled build dates and ETA's. Some options and colors are preventing their system from accepting the order.

The Appearance Group and 18" wheels are not accepted at this time.

My dealer took my order for the Hood Scoop Delete option, but he thinks that this might cause mine to be rejected. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I guess I'll find out shortly. With regards to the 18" wheels, I'd much rather pick out my own.
