To the guys with aftermarket intakes on the GTO or any LS1....

How does it sound? Is the sound noticeable from outside of the car when getting on the pedal? (You know that sucking sensation).

I am highly considering this one:

This kit does make a difference in the sound, but it is not obnoxious. It performs and sounds great. And it will not trip any sensors.

If you want to do it, then do it. I have received one. Nothing but praise. It does not seem to sound too much different from the stock intake. It does, however, seem to rev a lot faster. One can feel the intake difference once about 2800 rpm is achieved. Then you feel the hp and torque. The looks are second to non especially with the stainless intake tube.
Removal and assembly are quite easy and the instructions included in the kit are step by step as easy as pie. It only took me about 20 minutes to remove and replace the intake tube with this one.

We have shipped over 60 GTO Intake Kits and have no engine light problems.

Hey Gravana.. I got my Intake today and installed it.

Looks VERY nice :) RPM's seem to rev quicker as well.

I put in an order for a Preditor a few minutes ago... $700 in two days, maybe you can hook me up with some stickers :)
