What are the odds that 04's will still be available come mid-october? Hoping that the financing deals will be extended to that point as well. Any thoughts? Are they still making the 04's or have they switched to 05's yet? Thanks for any comments.

I am sure you will be able to find one then. Probably wont have the greatest selection but i plan on waiting until the fall as well.

I also finally test drove my first 04 GTO. It was a silver/ black, auto. Very fun car to drive. It is very powerful and accelerates very fast. It has that pin in the back of your seat power that the old goats have. It handles as good as any other car i have driven. Very nice ride. I want one. All i have to do know is get a 6 speed in a color I like for the right lease price. Should be soon I think :)

I wouldn't mind taking your old car for a spin! One of my favorite rides was an old Belvedere...ugly as sin, but it had a 383, 4 sp, and dual exhausts. That sucker would go like a bat our of hell (Meatloaf). I also liked an old Duster we put an Edelbrock intake with a big Holley...tough to get to idle correctly, but when it caught on it was gone! Those cars along with the Roadrunners and Ford XLs were only about $300-500 bucks back then and you could easily swap engines. I wish I would have kept a few.
