A long time ago I had Eibach springs installed on my Grand Am, and I noticed a nice improvement in cornering ability.
Then a couple months later I upgraded from 15" wheels to 16" and I noticed a huge improvement.
I really love taking turns as fast as possible so I want to turn my GTO when I get it into a handling machine.
I've never really cared for that riding on air feeling, I want to be in touch with the road. I'm thinking I would start out with an Eibach pro kit, which should lower the center of gravity, curb body roll, and even give it a better looking stance.
Then my big question is about the wheel and tire size... What would the optimal wheel / tire combination be? I imagine 18's would be better than 17's but would 19's be better than 18's? where is the line of diminishing returns where it's not worth it to go any bigger? And also how wide can I or would I want to go?
After the handling upgrades, I'm sure that a supercharger would be mighty tempting so you might want to factor that into your equations.
