Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has put a different spoiler on their GTO. Please post pics if you got some
Thanks

There have been a few companies to try it, nothing that looks to grand though IMO. Check around with the aftermarket companies.

Well we agree to disagree :D
I know arrowhead performace had some concept spoilers but I dont think they have been made yet, the Autocross GTO had a different spoiler which might be worth checking out.

Haven't really seen alot of options for aftermarket rear spoilers.
I am going for the NO spoiler look on mine. Just got to get the time to get to the body shop.

HSV has an extended "duck bill" rear lip wing available that looks pretty slick but as far as I know, it is only available in Australia seeing as it is for the Holden model. Though i'd expect it should fit the same.

That is the HSV spoiler. Their is also a very slick looking rear window "spoiler" that mounts to the glass with double sided tape and is paintable to match that HSV makes.
I wonder though if that spoiler makes use of the factory wings holes or not? I wouldnt want to get them filled and the deck lid repainted just to cover over it with another wing. I'm not so keen on the big part that hangs down in the middle of the wing, but that would be a nice location to mount a Pontiac logo perhaps.

I removed my spoiler and had the holes filled. I think the GTO looks better without. No aftermarket spoiler that I investigated used the stock holes. Which means that changing spoilers will most likely involve welding, grinding and painting the trunk lid. Also, there are 5 holes - 2 each side for mounting the stock spoiler and one larger hole on the right for the brake lighrt wire feed.

how much did it cost you to get the holes filled in ? Did you need to get the whole trunk lid repainted?
