Ok I'm new to the group, but I'm finally a proud owner of GTO! I just bought a 04 Pulse Red with Red leather six speed and got a great deal which I couldn't walk away from! Yea I know all about the 05, and I was planing on waiting on one, but when the harsh reality of a great deal hits you in face ********** goes out the window. I got MY GOAT for $27,500 + license and fees. $30,000 - $2,000 GM with the 2.9% financing - $1,500 with my GM credit card special redeeming points( I had 500 points, but right now GM is giving people 1000 if you use your points to a GM vehicle before Sep 30th) All in all, I walked out the door with a brand new GTO for under $30,000 and to top it off it's the rare PULSE RED!
God ****, driving this thing is amazing! I love the "gurgle" sound of the LS1 when you start up the engine. Overall the clean sleek look of the 04 just appealed to me more..................I don't wanna start another thread war about how the 05 is better then the 04, but I'm 100% happy with my purchase and I love my new car!!

First mod....... just ordered some sick BMW M5 polished silver and black rims that will be on next weekend. :woot:

P.S-anybody know where I can order those GTO side skirt badges from Australia??

Congrats and welcome to the board, I believe your our first Pulse red owner, so its manditory that you get some pictures for us to see :D .

I think Desert GTO has the side embles...but I might be mistaken, it could also be GTO in NYC...but they both have silver goats, so im not sure which one bought them, but you might IM them and find out where they got theirs.

Congrats... nice combo. I was considering waiting to buy the new red, but had to have the red interior. Sounds like you got it???? Are you sure it's the dark red? I didn't even know of any dealers with these in stock.

I think you might have to clarify a little for us though. All information we have seen is that the Pulse Red (a darker metallic red) could only come with black interior.

Torrid Red (the brighter non metallic red) does have red interior.

The question I guess is. Do you have red or silver faced guages, this should settle the doubt. I also didn't know the Pulse Red was here yet. Also I believe the Pulse Red option runs an extra 250 bucks or so (not sure on that one).

We just want to figure this out. Glad you got your GTO. :)

I ordered a pulse red GTO. It was built August 18th and I believe all of the pulse reds were built around the same time. It has an expected delivery date of November 18th. I am nearly certain that pulse red GTOs are only available with the black interior.

Pulse red is the color of all the last 800 GTO's I believe.

That is interesting because I was under the same impression that Pulse Red was available with only the black interior. Both of the cars that I ordered will not be here until October at least.

Ya, does it come with 40th anniversary seats and any other things different from a regular 04.

Man, do I feel dumb....... B) Sorry guys for misleading you all into thinking I got the PULSE RED GTO! I think I just got the colors names mixed up...........the reason I thought MY GOAT was the PULSE RED was because the dealership that I bought my GTO from just got the car in last week. I assumed it was the PULSE RED because I heard that the last of the GTO's being shipped out to dealers would be this color.
I really still don't give a ****...............the color of my car is the BOMB and I love it!! The red interior just adds so much to this car.
I need to change my name to TORRID RED 04 GTO!!! lol :woot:
Yea I was surprised also when I got the flyer in the mail concerning more INCENTIVES from GM. I am a GM credit card holder and that $1,500 in incentives really sealed the deal for me! It pays to have GM card!
