With a a Zeta GTO coming in 2007, I think it is safe to say that the 2006 GTO will be pretty much a complete carry-over of the 2005, but with the recent pictures of the Woodward Dream Cruise GTO I thought it would be fun to see what it would look like with evolutionary (vs. revolutionary) changes.

I started with the Woodward Dream Cruise photos and did a front 3/4 shot, a back 3/4 shot and an interior shot.

Hope you like it.

Front 3/4 :

Features :

- Pushed out wheel wells on all 4 corners. Give the Goat a little more character and allow for wider tires.
- Revised front grill extending from the headlights in. Not that I think the current grill looks bad, I was just looking for a change. I used the '68/'69 GTOs and the '77/'78 Trans Am as inspiration. (I didn't like the Woodward grill how it pushed into the hood.)
- Lower front grill has been extended to include the foglamps.
- 2005 scooped hood replaces Woodward hood.
- 18X9 5 spoke wheels. (Could even put 18X10s in back.)
- I LOVE the ducktail spoiler from the Woodward concept.
- Black surrounds on the front headlights
- I liked the orange of the Woodward concept (although I wish it had less "pearl" and more "carasel red") but I changed mine to red just so I could use my new color changing skills. (Thanks Rex!)
- I also cleaned up the lower moldings a little from the Woodward concept.

Next, the Back 3/4 view ...

back 3/4 view :

- Quad dual exhaust tips coming out the back.
- Black surrounds on taillights.
- Better view of that ducktail spoiler.
- 18X9 inch 5 spokes.
- Red

Next ... the interior ...

Last pic.

Interior.

- Although the current steering wheel is nice, I wanted something a little more sporty. Like the Pontiac formula steering wheels from the 70s. Here's my take on that theme. (Note the radio controls.)
- I always bugged me that the current GTO doesn't include oil pressure and battery charge gauges. Fixed that. (Also changed gauges to a gray color - I was never too sure about the colored gauges.
- Any car selling for $35K should include an XM radio with DVD navigation system. (Also switched the position of the radio and climate controls so the touch screen is up higher.)

That's it. Hope you like it.

My Views:

Overal: Worse than WDC car...better than current car

Rear: ALOT better...Still hate that spoiler...the HSV kinda spoiler (http://rksport.com/product/p_09011010/view_detail)
Lights and exhaust look great.

Front: The WDC hood looks better in my mind, same with grill and rest of the car...I just dont car for what uve done that much (no offense). I like the WDC one better.

Nice! I think that the Woodward concept car has a lot of potiential! I hope we see design cues from the concept in the Zeta GTO..

If Goats like this were available from Pontiac right NOW, they would sell out 18,000 units every year. O-K, so they've shown they know HOW to do it. Now it's time to stop teasing the public and make this available. The standard GTO has generated nothing but yawns. :jumpon:
