Probably for better aerodynamics and to protect the foglight lens from rocks or road debris. You'd be suprised how much junk flys up at your car on the road.

Viper has them the same way.

See, now the GTO has something in common with the Viper!

Hey Howie, I tried PM'ing but dunno if you got it or not. I wanted to ask what the wheel and tire specs were on the yellow goat you guys have are? (Mostly wondering offsets, widths and tire sizes.) It looks "perfect" IMO and I hope to find something that comes even remotely close to looking as good.

I think it is a neat Idea. I always worry bout the glass ones on my Grand Prix!

What I'd give for plastic covers on my E30 M3's fog lights! The glass on the ****ed things have been cracked by road debris more times in the car's 14 year history than I care to remember!

Thank goodness they put them on the GTO.

? I got glass on my GTP and Ranger. I don't like the way the plastic covers look...
