: How are dealers acting over 05 Pre-orders?

Is there any of the early on molesting happening, or are the dealers being decent this time around? I really would hate to see the 05 have a hard time because of dealers like the 04.

Also with it getting out now that 04's can be had for cheap, do you think it will create a sense that the 05's are expensive in comparison? Especially if GM launches the car with no rebates again, and a slight price increase.

My dealer will order one for me under MSRP, but they don't have pricing for the 2005's yet. Once the pricing comes in I am going back to sit down and talk numbers with him. I just can't see ordering a car I don't know the price for.

ydtrack- did you give up on that '04 from moreno valley?

The one in Moreno Valley is a Red/Black M6 and not really the car I wanted. After giving me the run around and refusing to give me an out the door price I told them no thanks. They were playing, what do you want your payments to be? game.

Financially I will be better off to wait and buy the 2005 anyway. I am finalizing my divorce and my ex is soon to be court ordered to pay me about $10k. Just getting the judgement against her will make her blood boil and buying the GTO with it will make her head explode. B)

Thanks man, my lawyer was worth every penny I paid for him. I offered to settle out of court for $5k and they refused. We then presented the judge with all the documentation for the full $10k she owes me, the judge looked at her and her attorney like they both were freakin morons for not taking my offer. Now we just need to get the court order done, but I have a feeling I may have to fight her to get the money. I would be heart broken if I had to garnish her wages. :dribble:
