I went and looked at GTO's at the Ferguson dealership on S. Academy Blvd on Friday. I have been holding off buying one as it seems the dealership is unwilling to come off MSRP (approximately $31,300).
The bottom line is this... I want a GTO.
Is GM going to offer a factory sales event anytime soon? Or... any dealers in Colorado attempting to sell off their stock for the arrival of 2005 models?

Dealers will always want to get rid of outdated inventory, keep a watch on the dealers around you if you can wait, and watch untill they start to lower prices. Once the 05's actually arrive they will probably give you a good discount.
Why don't you give me a try. I love to have your business.

I can't make a purchase until after 18 October. (Colorado "Final" divorce date)
Yes... this is how I am celebrating the ending of 7 years with the evil redhead. :frankie:
I'll use my GM Supplier Discount as I work for Northrop Grumman, and hopefully you'll give me some other discounts or end of year sale deal. I simply refuse to pay anywhere near MSRP, and I will put a significant down payment on the car (atleast 50%).
- Must be a 6 speed car
- Barbados Blue, or Pulse red

I received the IM.
I will be able to make a purchase after 18 October due to the conclusion of Colorado divorce court proceedings. (I can't make a major purchase prior to this date... we wouldn't want her to obtain my GTO :) )
I work for Northrop Grumman and will receive the GM Buyer discount.
I do expect an end of year savings for a car that has sat on a sales lot for 8+ months. This car depreciates $4,000 dollars the minute I drive it off the lot. (For some reason or other this isn't in consideration) If I have to wait till November to get that sweet deal I'll do so.
Please don't take this as negative in nature. I am enthusiastic about getting a factory beast with 350 horsepower and 365lbs torque to the rear wheels. I just want my hard earned dollars to go a bit further. I'll squeeze everything out of them... :pain:

Sweet good luck man... But those numbers aren't to the wheels, it's to the crank.

I purchased my goat at King Pontiac in Loveland, CO. They currently have six in stock. I got supplier price which I believe was right around $30k less the $3500 rebate. Last week they had two purples, a red, two silvers and a black in stock, all of them except the silver one are manuals.

I had no issues at Ferguson Pontiac, we couldnt make the financing work (not their fault) so I didnt drive away with one, but the two people i dealt with (no idea on names) were informed and we're even prepared to make a deal on Silver M6 they were using as their demo. Either way, i am for now on the wrong side of the equation on my current car to make a GTO possible unless the price drops quite a bit more.

Believe me... when I get the car it will pump out more than that to the rear wheels. :P I see a nitrous bottle in the trunk as one of the first mods.
