It is about time I got to make someone look stupid besides myself. Friday evening I got my first kill, followed up by another Saturday morning, it was nice. Friday night was a slick night here in VA with all the rain. I was coming home from work to get my girlfriend and head south to VA Tech to see her sis. When I am driving through Charlottesville, a younger kid with his gf..younger than me and I am only 24, pulled up beside me. They did a double take to see the goat which lots of people do comes to find out and they usually say nice car. Well he started to get bold and I was in no mood since I figured I was going to get stuck behind someone turning in front of me from the other street. Well that did not happen and we got green, he goes hard, and I am aggressive and go too, being young and ****y. Well I DID have the Traction control on and it helped a lot and saved me, cause I was able to stay connected and take him to about 85 before I had to slow for the next light, I took of the TC just in case you tried to fly by but I spun like crazy. Point is, I took him even though I still looked like I dumb dumb spinning the rear end around a little farther done the road. The TC really helps out on slick roads.
The second kill came when I was at Tech. Can you imagine all the kids there with their rice rockets. Either way he was behind me revving his engine and you can hear it...snap crackle pop all over the place. I drill it off the line with TC on again just because it was not worth taking it off and that is over with...well I thought it was. He comes right up on my butt in a merge lane onto one of the major roads merging about 45mph. Well I hate tailgaters, so at the bottom of the ramp when the merge starts onto the highway you see his nose dip as he downshifts and cuts all the way over to the left lane, well I went from a mild 4th to 2nd, nothing to major and drilled it, got in front and never looked back, went to about 110 and just coasted into Tech down 460. He would not pass me as I approached my turn, but when he finally did when I was stopped, he gave me a thumbs up out the window and drove off. Glad some people are not totally pissed when a little ol goat takes on uncle ben.
