Monaro front bumper?

So i've been busy photoshopping my "perfect" GTO, this is where i'm at... Basicly it is a Monaro without the front grill, with GTO emblems, fully custom Boyd wheels (A design I modified myself, quoted $700 per wheel in 18" sizes by Boyds) and my representation of the new Grey color.

Anyhow, question is... I wonder how easy it would be to swap the Monaro front bumper cover on in place of the factory GTO bumper? I like it a lot more than the GTO front end and i'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to get one shipped from australia once this model is in production there. (This is a slightly new design for them yes?)

I believe its a simple bolt in replacment.

That would be sweet... Now to find a dealer in aussie land that can ship me the bumper cover for a reasonable cost.

I do believe you would have to order those fog lights also because they appear to be different from the GTOs.

Of course, but that probably isnt too hard to wire in either.

i dont get why the new monaro has two sets of fog lights.....do they all light up at the same time or do they serve as two totaly different sets of lights? regardless i really like how they look - i'd rather see that on our shores rather than the current nose which looks just way too much like a grand prix.

I dunno, I chopped the front end off the auto-x version and it looks pretty nice still...

If anyone comes up with part nos, prices and a supplier let's hear about it. I want this front end.

I would love to have one for mine. If its just bolt on, how much $ do you think it would be, do you think it would come in my stock color, and do you think it would be able to go with auto-X kit side-skirts and rear bumper?

I'm sure you could get the auto-x side skirts and paint them to match but the auto-x front piece wouldnt fit the same on the Monaro front end. Of course the rear wouldnt be a problem since it is a completely different rear bumper.

Oh I know the from auto-x piece wouldnt work. I just want to sides and back. Monaro front would be good for me. I would also have to put in that new grill. Whats that called anyway? Personally I like the recessed grills, and I like the Auto-X front....but with both of them together, it really starts looking like a grand am. The Monaro front looks great to! CCan anyone photo-chop it in black?

Jason, could you do me a favor and chop the monaro mouth on that GTO only with a GTO grill and not a monaro grill? Thanks!

I am about to buy a Monaro in Australia and I want to fit the standard GTO front end. If anyone wants to swap with a GTO front end let me know (preferrably in black).

ALso - if anyone knows anyone that has replaced their bumper and wants to sell their original bumper - please let me know.

Personally, I like some of the HSV components and have done a little research, just incase I trade in the T/A for a new GTO. Even though this isn't the stock Monaro front bumper cover you are referring to, here is the HSV front bumper cover, as well as some other cool options for your GTO.
