I got a catalog in the mail from SLP and it has 18" wheels available for the GTO. They list for $1199.00 I wish I could post a pic of them. They look pretty cool in my opinion. They're black and silver. Only problem is I really don't see the need to upgrade to 18" wheels considering the fact that I have a set of perfectly good 17" tires. Anyone have a pic of these they can post??

Why not run the 17's in the winter since they are all season rated tires and the 18's in the summer and put a summer rated performance tire on them for better traction.

It's hard to tell how those rims will look with the body lines of the GTO from that pic. Does anyone have a pic of the whole car with those rims?

yeah! exactly. those are pretty cool compared to aftermarket ones I have seen fitted. IMHO: using the 5x120 wheels with the 38mm bmw offset makes them stick out a little too much. that seems to look better. plus, those look esp good on the black car!

What size tires should be used with these wheels?

Probably 40 series.

I'm wondering what it would look like if I had 18x8 40's in the front and 19x9 45's in the rear. Kind of the "old school hot rod" look ya know? Can anyone photoshop that one with those HSV wheels?

What do you think?

Well I called to order them yesterday and they told me that they aren't available and never will be.

I told them I have the part number and a catalog from them with a picture of them. They said there was a problem with them getting from Australia to here and that they will never be sold here. :(

Weird. <_<
