So i have my first kill. My neighbor picked up a G35 coupe, silver, spoiler with crome rims and a 6 speed. Its a nice car( the G35 was a very distant 2nd choice after the GTO). Anyhow i met him at the light and we had a little fun. I showed him whos boss on the block. The Tiger scores again( im still waiting to take on a 6 speed WS6 or SS)

I dont think it has many more gadgets( just heated seats, sunroof maybe a nav system). But im sure he would trade that stuff for the extra hp of the goat now. As for how bad it was i couldnt say in car lengths, im not good with that. But i beat him significatnley. The 6 speed GTO is a mid 13 second car, the G35 coupe 6 speed is low 14 second car( usually running like 14.2 or something). For 05 they bumped the hp up on 6 speed G35 coupes from 280 to 295. So now im gussing these 05s will be running about a 14 flat. Still no match for our mighty GTO.

Anyhow the guy who owns the G35 isnt a bad guy. He isnt a car guy like me though, hes more of a car snob. When i first picked up the 64 he said it looked like the batmobile( its black with a red pinstriped and redline tires so......) which is pretty sad to me, if you dont know what a GTO is. Now that i beat him Im sure he wont forget.

I am a Pontiac guy at heart, its my fav car brand( and GTOs are the best of the Ponchos). But i do like Nissan/Infinity, and considered a G35 or a maxima but the GTO was just so much more desirable to me. I love the altima( but probably would have gotton the Grand Prix GT if i could have gotten the same price on it as the altima).
The comments about his ignorance of GTOs and how it looked like the batmobile was really what made me want to beat him.

I think i will. It will be close. I have seen a few on the road so far but have yet to have the opputunity to race them. Im still waiting.
