One of my friends has a black 2003 Saleen S281 supercharged Mustang which is about 375 hp..............it's pretty much bone stock and he paid $50,000 for it :hysterical:

I decided to wait off on the MAGNACHARGER for now and simply go with Z06 LS6 HEADS and CAM............with JBA Shortie Headers.
I wanted to go with the supercharger but it was $4,000.00 dollars cheaper to do the Heads and cam swap......... :)
I'm also going have a custom exhaust put on with four pipes out the back.................I'll put pics up when I'm done.

but anyways, will this car smoke a stock GTO???

I pretty much figured it would............................but then again it ain't really a stand alone motor. But power from any source is power and if my GTO was supercharged it wouldn't even be close........ :dribble:
I really wanna smoke my friend.....................this young man is a spoiled brat who's parents have bought him everything :tongue: He's even got a HUMMER with rims plus the Saleen...........all paid for by his rich dad.

He's not really a super close friend of mine, but a friend none the less. I badly want him to see the rear end of my GTO in a race............ My GTO I worked for and I'm paying payments for all by myself :D

You will most likely lose, but it wont be terribly bad.

You can't argue the if my engine was charged because you have a larger engine. So of coarse your's would be faster.

Anyways, hope you can take down that stang pretty soon, just be careful if its not at a strip.

My god, talk about paying way too much for that car seeing as the MSRP on a 2004 Saleen S281-SC is around $42,000! Then again, for some people money is no object, and in the case of your friend that certainly sounds like the case!

As far as smoking a stock GTO, I'd concur with Nocturn. Assuming that you are both of equal skill, the S281 will win because it is around 300 pounds lighter than the GTO, sports a live rear axle and does 0-60 in around 4.7 seconds.

doesent the supercharged gto have like 481hp but how about on a dyno i would at least say 421hp but still good!!

Yea with the MAGNACHARGER the 04 GTO is about 470 to 480 hp and probably 400 hp to the rear wheels...............
It would then beat the S281.........

Very true but there are other things to consider when comparing the two, such as the GTO's larger engine. Obviouslly its going to make more power.

If you have a M6 and are very good with it you might get lucky and win a few.
If you have an A4...well forget it. I know of very few A4s that have gotten out of the 14 sec. bracket (this sucks).

A4's have a wider gear ratio to catch up to the M6 less gears more wider the ratio of each gear so its slower with a wider gear ratio!!!
