I somewhat lost respect for SLP (what was left of it) when they started making Mustang parts.

Hey busines is business guy. THe F-Body has been dead for 2 years and the FWD stuff isn't paying the bills. It took GM until '04 to get the GTO and not only is it selling so-so, people aren't that anxious to modify it. It's either incorporate new stuff or close the doors. You'll be happy to know at the even the F-body's had the Fords 3:1. ! :D

I only saw 5 GTO's show up You guys missed a GREAT drag race...we were fender to fender all the way down the track. Besides a so-so launch, I think I made my mistake by shifting right under redline instead of just above it b/c each time I'd grab a gear I'd just see more and more red sheetmetal in my front window :unsure: ime...I will prevail!!!


The consolation prize was I got to blast this Impala SS off on the way back home. They were apparently trying to egg this Marauder on, but he wanted no parts of 'em. So I just kept up with them before traffic started to get on my nerves. (Is it me or is all the slower traffice now driving in the left lane??? :zap: ) Anyhow, we had to split around this tractor trailer in the middle lane. I dropped it into 5th once I was hidden behind the truck so by the time he had cleared the truck on his lane I was jetting out. Everytime he'd ease up on my bumper, I'd just squeeze the throttle and...buh-buh baby!!!! I so owned that SS all the way up to exit 14 like the bad a-- pimp I dream I am!! :eatarrow: but they we re cool though...finally pulling up next to me and exchanging a thumbs up.:friday:

As I got to my exit I came upon this Camaro SS that was showing off with his girlfriend. I think he had a SLP Loudmouth on it b/c that thing was snap cracklin and poppin' like crazy...should I really eat up two Chevy's in a day??? :jumpon: naw...I had enough fun, so I took my exit and let him feel like he punked me.
What a great ending to a long tedious day! :afro:
