If you guys had the chance to buy a 2005 gto demo direct from gm would you do it? I was told it would still be considered a new car and all warranty would apply. I haven't got a price locked yet but My source tells me it will be a very hefty discounted price.

I wouldn't, its a demo car and is bound to not be as good as a normal production car. I wouldnt want to loose quality just due to impatience.

Dealers beat on demo sports cars....I would never buy one.

My dad used to get demo's / preproduction vehicles quite often. The intention is to beat on them to find problems. It would have to be a heck of a deal for me to consider buying one.
