How much do you think it would cost for me to trade my 04 in for an 05? I was planning to get hood scoops, dual exhaust, and 400hp anyway. I can get more out of an LS2 anyway. If I got 100hp per liter in that car it would be 600! :D I dont want to resort to forced induction so I would like an LS2 to make it easier for myself.
How many miles on the 2004?

What did you pay for your 2004? (My feeling is your gonna get raped on your trade-in value.)

We know the sticker price is $33K. What did you pay? (Hopefully you got to take advantage of the $3K rebate + a little more depending on where you bought it.)

The rebate was up to $3500 when I got mine on October 4th. I did well with my trade-in (a 2003 Chevy Express G1500 van) and also got some more off knowing invoice and something about "holdback".
I am also considering trading in for an '05. I might do a little better than some, but still have no delusions...I'll be taking a big hit if I do it.

The GTO is not listed in KBB yet. Will be interesting to see what they list the "trade" value at.

You're going lose money!! Face the facts................you can get hella lot of power from an LS1 with mods and most likely a new 05 is cost at least afer taxes, license, and fees $38,000.00. Just mod your 04, you'll save money and have a faster car then an 05. For $2,500.00 the z06 heads and cam swap with some long tude headers and a custom exhaust will smoke a stock 05.
But if you wanna take a lost, it's your choice??
