Just saw an IBM drive past me. Thought is was 2004 like
mine-blue/blue M6- then saw rear end! Had separate duals
and 6.0 badge. No front scoops, and those dual pipes
appeared at least 3" to 4" diameter. I was surpprised to
see it, don't think it had manufacturer plates; we see many
new cars early in metro Detroit. So, 2005 is on the road!

You probably caught a glimpse of one of the few on the road in the hands of the media. They always get first drives and seeing the car for most people wouldnt even strike it up as unusual.

the only strange thing is that the first batch of 05s were all supposed to have the hood scoops, and the delete option wasnt supposed to be avaliable till mid year. I would think that if that car was a magazine car or something, it would have the hood scoops cause you know the mags wanted the 04 to be a little more aggresive.

Unless they sent it without the scoops for some reason and/or they switched hoods to make it blend in better. IE: Less obvious that it is a preproduction 05 model or something.

Those arent media cars, they are CTF cars.
