ok well...a couple of nights ago i was driving home from the movies...and i got to a stop light. the road was dead. after a few secs this red 04' Mach 1 pulls up on the lane next to me and revd the engine.
i ignored them, they didnt really impress me. i dont think they even knew what the Goat is capable of...or what is a Goat at all...
anyways, they kept doing the engine thing..so i decided to play a little...i rolled down my window and gave them a smile...after a few secs the light turned green they took off...i counted four seconds...and then i took off...and i smoked their @sses! i was so nice :) i even gave them a 4 second head start..and still smoked them...fools!

You wouldn't have won gving them a four second head start... quit lying.

i did! well maybe i wouldn't have if there were only one person in that mustang..or maybe they got confused and slowed down...i dunno..i don't care...i won :tongue:

All things being equal the Mach1 ties the GTO's performance, so giving them a headstart at all would make it hard for you to win. So unless there was a handicap somewhere in there then you shouldn't have won.

But we dont know all the details...

:bs: Allright we have had enough of the BS. Everyone knows that when an oppurtunity strikes we will take advantage of the other guys poor judgement when he wants to race. But in the case of these two cars it is all driver and skill. I have had the misfortune of not paying attention and losing. But I have also had you at my door handles with both drivers going all out and won at the end. The new GTO is a fast one but the Mach 1 is lighter and with a few simple bolt on's the race is in the BAG.

Maybe there should be a shootout. We have quite a few modded and stock around.

I have no bolt on's. I simpley stated that with a few bolt on's and the weight advantage it is in the bag. As I have been reading you goat people are as obsessed as we macher's are with the need for more HP/Torque and who has the best dyno numbers. I have personally won twice against a goat but it was a drivers race and I have many years behind the wheel of fast cars.

Also a stock Gt does not come close to copetition yopu will get from a mach or a Cobra or even a Saleen if you want to give it a go. I did mention a shootout right.

Again, all you have to do is admit it, stock vs. stock, you are less likely to win. Spend the same amount on mods and get a similar result. We all know horsepower is only a matter of money, so spend away.............
BTW, you're not the Guy in the red cobra that I walked away from on the Fl turnpike last Sunday morning are you? The one with the USMC tag? Yeah that was fun. Door handle to door handle until 120 when I shifted in 6th. No, I was not redlined in 5th, and yes my car was smooth, steady as a rock and still pulling strongly at 140 when you were in my mirrors. Yes, I did slow down first. My exit was a mile ahead and coming up fast. Hope to see you again.

Never have been in Florida with my car try San Antonio. And yes it is Red.

Closest I ever got to San Antonio was basic training. Still, it was a fun run with the jar head. We have other members in Texas who I'm sure would be happy to take a few runs with you. I will agree that many times it is the driver that makes the difference.

We are currently forming a local club and would be interested in a get together (friendly only so if their are any people with issues in being seen near each other don't show up). what we would like to do is get time at San Antonio raceway and have test/tune and BBq. just people with the same interest in muscle not to get together and flex.

I'll be in Corpus around mid-March. I'm up for any kind of friendly get together. B)
