It was posted on here that there would be a retro look spoiler for the new GTO but in a year ive seen nothing but a drawing of an orange GTO with one on it. Is AP actually making/going to make this?
Im just a little qurious because because i havent seen anything else on this and am saving up for my future car which will hopefully be a GTO (going for used because it will be cheaper for me so i do have a plan for those who wonder how ill be able to afford one... And its more than saving up for a used one)

Anyways if/when i get a gto i would definatly get this for the car based off that drawing. Very sweet looking. I am just qurious as to if this and/or its plans for making it have been thrown out the door or if you guys are going to make it eventually.

I just want to know pricing on the parts they recently shown at SEMA.

We had originally had plans to offer a retro styled spoiler but it would have required filling factory holes and drilling new ones. Changing the design of the spoiler to use the factory holes and it would have look to similar to the Autocross spoiler. So the entire idea has been s****ped, unless a spoiler delete is offered.

The lip spoiler on the yellow GTO is the JHP spoiler. It can get it if the demands warrants it. It does require filling the factory holes and drilling new ones. This is a major reason we haven't brought it over in any kind of numbers yet.

The spoiler on the orange GTO is our spoiler. It's a one piece design that uses the factory holes and requires no drilling to mount. You'll also still be able to see the brake light in the rear window. Pricing on this piece along with several other parts should be released today.

Man, this is a bummer :( I kinda liked that one and difinatly woulda got one when i get my goat... I shure hope they make a spoiler delete option now because that was one cool looking design.

BTW, i was looking at the pics of those AP goats. The yellow is bad a**! The orange one isnt to bad either. THey both have an in your face mean shark like look. The blue one was nice to.

One things for shure, if AP keeps coming out with cooler and cooler stuff i know that im gonna be one of thier customers most likely after i get a goat. Keep up the good work AP :afro:

You know what i'd like to see is a more flat style one JUST LIKE the orange lip wing, except with a real low fit like the JHP one, and about the same amount of hang over the rear.

I'd also like to see that front lip just a little shorter. (Sticks out a bit too far from the bumper for my tastes.) Perhaps even add a little low profile air duct on each side for looks.

Edit: Yea yea, its a Civic... But it is the only picture I could find to express the idea I was trying to describe.

Like the Vuaxhall have that someone posted a while back, or shorter than that?

And so far there is NO spoiler delete option offered from GM.
