I was returning from work this past Saturday. It was around 1:00 am. At a stoplight
this guy pulls up and wants to run. We went a rather deserted stretch of road to 'test' our cars. We knew our starting point and once we agreed on an ending point we were off. I got a good launch and finished with him just behind my rear bumper (kill #1). We pulled off the road, talked for awhile and decided to run again. The results were similar.(kill #2). This was only my second '04 Goat that I've run and in all fairness it was an A4. My '68 is a 4 spd man. The other '04 that I've run is my neighbor's. He has a black M6. He also holds a 3-2 advantage. Both are fun cars.

I think he's saying that he (in his '68 GTO) ran 1st against an '04 A4 GTO then 2nd ran against an '04 M6 GTO and won both times. B)

Nice kill BTW...what you got under the hood...beside it being an A4?

I have a slightly modified 400 with a 'Homemade' RamAir system...The 'kills' I was referring to were both on the same night running againt the same A4 Goat. As an aside I mentioned running against my neighbor in his '04 M6 GTO. One thing I am grateful for is that we were running in a straight line. If it had been on some 'twisties' I would have been put away 'quick, fast, and in-a-hurry'. The new handles great (not to mention better MPG).
