GRAVANA RAMAIR STYLE HOOD NOW AVAILABLE FOR GTO
For the enthusiast who wants a Ram-Air style functioning hood with clean lines that match the NEW GTO, Gravana has answered your call!
The Gravana hood is fiberglass with real rolled edges, and features functional air vents and stainless steel grills inside and out. Each hood is created using an exclusive carbon-core process, and allowed to cure for a full 24 hours under vacuum. The aerospace inspired manufacturing method yields a hood that is three times stronger than the typical hand laid hood, while providing weight loss characteristics similar to carbon fiber. In fact, the Gravana Hood is approximately 40% lighter than the stock hood. (27lbs vs. OEM 45lbs!!!) This hood is fully functional and retains OEM latch points, and incorporates billet aluminum hinge and mounting plates for added strength. This hood comes unpainted and ready to prep for paint and utilizes the factory hood main latch and secondary safety latch. The Gravana hood does not incorporate OE washer nozzles, nor do we recommend modifying the hood to fit them. Instead, we recommend that you acquire wiper-mounted nozzles from a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am and attach those to your windshield wipers.
