Looking for comments on who actually has aftermarket exhaust systems for 2004 GTO.

HP is not really a factor for the $

Best Sound? What brands sound better and or louder than factory.

Loudmouth is the best bang for the buck out there. I think it sounds the best, and is very reasonable in price.

The SLP Loudmouth has gotten good reviews. If you have an 04, get a system now! A lot of companies got burned because Pontiac changed the system for 05. This combined with short production numbers will make for a short run of GTO exhuasts...making them cost alot in the future!

I ordered the loudmouth system this week, good price, free shipping.

Thanks for the input.

I suspect I'll post good results when I put it on.

I recieved and installed SLP Loudmouth system today, very high quality for the price.

Sounds great when starting up, accelerating. Very little drone when RPMs are at cruising level.

Very happy with my buy.

How's the difference in performance?

Hard to tell as of yet, haven't done an all out run.

When I had my T/A and put new exaust on it seamed like the computer had to adjust itself with the difference in back pressure. Am I right about this, or just my imagination.

Got the loadmouth..love it accept that at 75-80 (my commute speed) .... it really drones in the cabin loud.....doesn't bother me to the point of going back to stock or anything.

Ive got a few questions.

Do any of your show cars not have chrome tips?

Is there a difference between the tips/entire system of your yellow show car and your blue one? The tips look different.

I liked CORSA after doing research and put a Sport one on. No drone at any speed. Nice throaty sound, burbles in between every shift and sounds great when backing down. For me, having gotten the extended warranty I liked that CORSA is recognized by GM. I know that catbacks should NOT void a warranty, just a bit less hassle for me. I have a CORSA on my son's 5.3l Silverado and am also very happy with that for sound, build quality, 0 warranty hassle.

I want to know where I can get a custom 3 inch Mandrel bent Flowmaster Exhaust system built around Austin, Tx or if there are any companies that would do it. I know i dont need 3 inch exhaust but I have big plans for alot more horsepower in the future and I wouldnt be sacrificing that much power for the time being by getting a system that is too big.
