Im very surprised that more yellow ones were made than Impulse Blue. Theres also a breakdow by transmission and color/transmission if anyone wants them.

So let me get this straight....they made 15728 2004 GTOs, but they are only going to make 12000 2005 GTOs

This tells me the 2005 GTO is going to be more "rare" than the 2004 GTOs (as a whole)

15728 made. With 10617 sales through November, that means there are upwards of 4000 still sitting on dealers lots.

My local dealer is selling them for high $24000s (including the $5500 rebate). I would guess that will go even a little bit lower in order to get rid of the last of the 2004's. Good news for those that want a 2004.

My guess is the 2005s will sell for sticker until all of the 2004s are gone and then we will start to see rebates on those as well.

Probably, BUT............... With only 636 Impulse Blue automatics, either the black interior or blue interior could be more rare. A 50/50 split would mean 318 black interior A4 IBM's and 318 blue interior A4 IBM's. Make it a 60/40 split and one could possibly be down to 254 or so of one or the other which would be LESS than the 271 Barbados Blue manuals.

Just a thought!

I second Orbit Oranges question as I too have a 2004 Impulse Blue/blue int. and auto. Mine is in central MI.

There are by interior colors, but no interior color AND transmission. Frankly I dont count interior color as the barbados wasn't offered in a choice, in which case you have to compare it with the standard interior color of the Impulse.

Im having a hard time locating a Impluse Blue/Blue with tinted windows and chrome rims. I gotta find it and foward info to Jason... So i can buy it :)

On the breakdown they had pulse red, I didnt know they had 2 different colored reds for the 04? Is that a missprint or did they switch up the color at some point.

A darker red. Optional at the end of the year. It also included red stitching in the seat backs and silver gauges.

I'd like to thank my Pontiac dealer for helping find the color and trans combo...my mom's friends at the credit union for signing the loan, oh and my old local car wash crew for always keeping her looking good!!

Seriously that is friggin' sweet! I'm thinking of getting another one. The only reason I picked Barbados is b/c the first Impulse Blue looked hideous under this one dealer's showroom lights and I wanted a low production color like the old Iris Mists.

Of course NOW I'm really going to be paranoid when I park the car at the opposite end of the parking lot! :unsure: :( :ph34r: <_<

Interesting... ALL the cosmos purple came with purple interiors. a pontiac dealer buddy of mine said that there were only a hundred quicksilver/ redhot int combos produced... would that be the rarest? as far as red/ red combinations...there is only one for sale at all the denver area dealerships...all the others are red/ black. $10,000 off msrp...one could do alot of mods for 10k <_<
