ScreaminGTO 12-21-2004, 10:52 PM That's Awesome!
Orbit Orange 12-21-2004, 11:12 PM I am going to make some serious consideration for those grille inserts and the 18 inch wheels.
The other ground effect stuff is a bit too "boy racer" to me though. Whatever floats your boat, as I'm sure many will like it.
:)
Nocturn 12-21-2004, 11:20 PM I agree with OO, the grills look good but thats about I would like on myne. I wonder if you can get the grills body colored.
rlsedition 12-21-2004, 11:47 PM Of course you can paint the grilles body color (either you or the dealer's body shop). Its all a matter of what you like.
Goat Lover 12-22-2004, 03:11 AM I figured it out.
The whole rear area of the sports appearance package is mean looking on the goat and muscular but it doesnt match the taillights which look more elegant then muscular.
If they looked like this or soemthing

The goat would of had at least a small amount of better looks than it does if these were on it, IMO.
TheJizzer 12-22-2004, 08:22 AM To me the SAP is to square or blocky for the smooth rounded lines of the GTO. And that wing is really really goofy looking on the back of that car.
CSiJason 12-22-2004, 05:12 PM The only part I dislike is the rear. I also think the autocross front end and sides would look better with the stock GTO rear bumper.
In that picture it takes away from the actual looks of the car from the rearend which in person looks great IMO. But the front end is the best end of the kit.
Jason, which do you like to drive the most, 6-sp or auto?
The auto is easy around town and in traffic but IMO the 6 speed is where it is at!!! :drevil:
REDGLOW360 12-22-2004, 11:38 PM Those pics dont actually due the package justice, I'm not crazy about the wing either but the new front and rear are great. The side skirt changes arent that noticable though which is a little dissapointing (had to go else where to find good ones). I got some pics from the dealer magazine that show it a little better, I'll try and get them up.
TheJizzer 12-24-2004, 09:25 PM The back of that Acura is C R A P!
Mostly the exhaust -- ok after seeing that picture no one here has the right to pick on the 2004 GTO!
I mean what the heck is with the triangles! I thing the Japanesse need to lay off the Trig!
dozlert 12-25-2004, 07:26 AM I think it looks cool...especially the rear fascia.
93RedLightning 12-25-2004, 07:51 PM looks very good.
silverstreek 12-26-2004, 02:21 AM I think it fits well together. The wing is much imroved over stock.Iwish it would retrofit on the 04.I need new frnt fachia due to stone chips.More like rock gouges. The hood looks good,is it fuctional?18 inch wheels arent going to work if you drive hard.Factory won't install them and dealer won't back them on 05.
CSiJason 12-26-2004, 12:51 PM The 18" wheels are Pontiac optional equipment offered through the dealerships coming in a few months. They only have summer rated tires on them so performance should be increased and to my knowledge, they should be covered under warrenty for the most part. (Of course curb damage, etc is probably not covered.)
Goat Lover 12-26-2004, 08:40 PM dude, the acura rearend is sweet!
Acuras in general are sweet IMO.

Yes if you like rebadged Hondas with a 20K mark up.
Next im going to hear Lexi (lexus plural?) are cool.
CSiJason 12-26-2004, 10:44 PM The car looks good but the back end looks like a$$. Acura are better than a 'typical' Honda in build quality. But not really worth the huge markup if you ask me. But look at people who buy cars with spiffy names like that just as a status symbol.
Muff Daddy 12-27-2004, 02:25 PM The only thing I would put on my gto is the hood. The rest I dont really care for.
drfresh 02-09-2005, 03:18 PM I tend to agree with most of the replies here. IF I had a GTO I would think about using those side skirts and the grill inserts, that's about it, oh yeah, the hood too. The rear fascia and the front don't do it for me, and that wing is downright nasty.
I thought that a wing delete option was now available for 05'. I have been told that the Monaro front nose will not fit on a GTO, has anyone verified this for sure. That on the front of a GTO with the Euro marker lights on the fenders where the GTO badges are now would be very nice, Oh yeah, NO wing on the rear decklid.

Yeah, I agree. The rear bumper looks like **** with the front. It's almost as if some marketing guru put the bumpers with the wrong packages. The stock rear looks more like it belongs with the autocross front and vise-versa.
Looks great IMO, anyone have any idea how much this is going to cost, and any pics of this kit on a black GTO?
Nocturn 02-13-2005, 08:19 PM I think MSRP is 1.5K to 3K ...but im not sure.
formula79 02-18-2005, 06:25 PM I like the SAP, especially the facia. It is pricey though...
