Just pulled this off the Online Ordering Guide. I think the 400 TQ has been stated on several sources but this is just another confirmation.

Updates for GTO

Effective 1/10/2005, the following changes will be made to the Vehicle Order Guide:


* Mechanical section-(LS2) Engine, 6.0L V8 SFI aluminum, changed description to read "(400 HP [297.9 kW] @ 5200 rpm, 400 lb.-ft. [546.7 N-m] @ 4000 rpm)



400 and 400 just sounds so much better than 400 and 395 doesn't it? :)

Some of very last items determined on a new car are the HP, torque and fuel economy numbers. Literally these are finalized just days before the brochures are produced, to get the very best numbers possible.
