Let’s kick off the 2005 race season with a bang. I’m working with a local shop to plan a Dyno and Race Run special. For about $200 you get 3 pulls on their dyno (including a print out based on Dynojet and Mustang dyno readings) and an all-day race day at the Island Dragway! They are renting the track as a private event so you’ll get as many runs as you dare push your car!

Tentative plans call for a dyno session Friday afternoon/evening and all day racing on Saturday sometime in March when Island opens. Additional tuning dyno time will be available at the track using their portable dyno for an additional fee. They are looking for at least 30 cars. Who is in?

Can we get a map or maybe a website for the track...I am in MD but may make the trip, if I know where it is....

If you want, I can get the track rental set up at Atco with a few Cartek cars as well. That way you wouldn't have to wait so long, since Atco is still open.

ATCO is too far for us north NJ folks, so Island is closer.

when in march ? i just transferred jobs and were opening a new store on march 2nd if its more towards the end of the month i might be able to come , this is the closes gathering so far.....

Well looks like the baby is in my lap now. I'm thinking of March 26th dyno day adn cruise in...then Sunday race. It'll be my birthday party!!

I like the sat. & sun. but i will need what date it will be so i can just rent a hotel since i'm to lazy to drive back. It's going to be around 1.5hr. one way trip for me. or maybe not. but it depends what date and hopefully i'll be free. thanks mike
