: Got an '05, several avail. in Vegas
Enginerd 01-12-2005, 12:44 PM Got one, it's fun. I suggest you do the same. Unless you don't like speed. Cuz it's fast. And addicting.
Those looking out west, there's a bunch invoiced to dealers in Vegas...just beware of the BS! Sure the early '04 guys know what I'm talkin about. And if you're eligible, they will accept supplier discount. :D
Nocturn 01-12-2005, 03:01 PM So it seems they learned nothing off of the 04s. Well we can only hope once they get here that they will stop with thier insane greedy markups.

Well don't just leave us hanging like that! Details my man! Color and interior, trans, and a general impression. Pics if you've got 'em too. Don't be a tease. ;)
Congrats, and SHARE. :D
ingram4868 01-12-2005, 08:41 PM Did you pay MSRP on your new GTO? I used the GMBuypower website and requested quotes from 4 different dealers. Two have said they will have to get back to me once they determine what the markup will be and the other two have not replied at all.
Same ole stuff, different year :jumpon:
nervousdog 01-13-2005, 08:55 AM Congrats and welcome to the site. :D
fastcop 01-24-2005, 12:50 AM Local news paper finally had a dealer advertisement for an '05; $31, 6**. Is this close to what some of you are seeing elsewhere?

I'm from michigan and My girlfriend goes to GVSU and I'll be up there this coming weekend. What dealership has 05 GTO's? I'd like to go look and see them in person. Do you know what color it is?
fastcop 01-24-2005, 04:32 PM The ad I saw was for Grand Pontiac, however I haven't seen any on the lots. Could be they're buried under all the snow we had dumped on us this past weekend! FYI, the MI International Auto Show will be in Grand Rapids this upcoming weekend too (Jan 27-30). Hoping to see one there.
kangol99 01-25-2005, 12:54 PM I emailed Grand Pontiac and that price is for an 04 that they still have in stock. They said they wont have an 05 until about march.
supercarbob 01-25-2005, 12:59 PM Pontiac dealer in Joliet,Il (south of Chicago)has an '05 on showroom(dark blue 6-speed). Car looks great with changes..

$31,600 for an '04? What are they smoking?
I've been prodding the dealers around Denver about their remaining '04s (at least two dozen are still around), and it looks like $24,400 + tax, tag, title for a 6M after GM Owner's rebate is the bottom. Unfortunately, the dealer who gave me that price doesn't have the color I want.
Maybe an '05 after all. By Fall they'll be down in my price range.
ingram4868 01-25-2005, 07:44 PM Northern Nevada's 2 Pontiac dealers have six 2004's between them and the best price seems to be 26,500 before the $1500.00 GM loyality rebate. Check GMBuyPower website zip code 89436 if interested.
I got a 2005 for $1000.00 over invoice. :)

I contacted that dealership and they told me that they wont have any 05's til march and they still have an 04 left. I think the ad was a misprint or something.

More likely the ad was an attempt to get someone in to see an '05, and then try to sell them an '04.
