Did they install the dead pedal in the 05's?

ummmmmmmm.... just a thought. Doesn't the cyclone grey only come with silver/grey gauges? Apparently not, huh?

Funny, I was thinking the same thing too. Looks like an odd assembly mistake. Looks good anyhow.

That's what I thought, but.... Nocturn, Branden, any thoughts on the gauges? New Options maybe?

Awesome! The 05 is awsome looking in that color. It os likley a new option since the GTO mirrors the Monaro in color options for the most part.

If it's a mistake, that car could be potentially very valuable down the road...pun intended :D

Looks like the gray guages weren't ready at assembly time or the gray guages have been s****ped. Could very well be one of those early production oddities that turn into a "rare" option. I wonder if they will be putting the blue guages in the early dark blue 05's?

Thanks for the pics. :)

It could be the camera you took it in, but that color doesnt look like a grey but a green. Even then red gauges only come on black, red, and quicksilver, so this is most likely a dealer option or not listed on the Pontiac website.

According to the Pontiac website the midnight blue cars are supposed to come with the same gray guages as the cyclone gray cars.

I was almost going to say "who made a photo shop barbados blue with 05 hood and exhaust". Than i saw the red guages and got even more confused, than i saw u say its a cyclone gray. **** it looks just like barbados in that pic, am i the only one who thought that
Either way your car looks awsome

No I thought the same thing. Pictures can be so very deceiving. It's odd, but I remember the pictures of the pulse red cars looked like torrid but in person there is no comparison. The car itself looks much different in person than in pics, too IMO.

what about the dead pedal though? Does the '05 have one? And is there even room to put your foot there?

Yes, plenty of room for my wide size 13's. ;) Plenty of space between pedals too.

The '05 does have the 'dead pedal'. A raised area on left side by kick panel covered with carpet....
