: 05 Mustang Suprised
JBullGator 01-26-2005, 11:50 PM I was out for an early morning ride last Saturday, it was one of those rare cold days in Miami and my 04 Goat loves sucking on cold air. I have a BLK/BLK A4 with some minor mods.
Any way I was stopped at a redlight when an 05 Mustang turns off the side road and gets on it. I caught up to him and we played around pulling in front of each other. It just so happened that we cought the next light together.
There are two young guys sitting there laughing and reving up and looking over my GOAT. While they looked at my car I watched the light. I gave it a little rev to let them know I would kick thier a@@. The light turned and I jumped on it, he smoked it coming out of first, I was hooked up good and left them by a couple of lengths, I looked in my rear view and he had backed down, havent seen the boys again.
Has any one raced the Dodge Crossfire yet? I had a guy harassing me in traffic yesterday in one. He would pull ahead a raise and close this little air foil looking thing on his rear deck. It looked like an air foil on an airplain wing. Scared the H out of me. LOL
Nocturn 01-27-2005, 12:57 AM Chrysler crossfire, they are slow.
The SRT6 crossfire is supercharged and a good race, but its around 48 grand, you'll know one when you see it as it has another spoiler on it. I almost liked them but realized they look like a dog taking a poo.
Good kill on the stang, story of their life. Full of punk teenagers who don't know any better and end up getting their a** beat by a superior car.
GTODRAGON 01-27-2005, 09:55 AM I played with an SRT10. A couple days ago. I saw hin when i was takeing a cruz. So we pulled into a gas station and taked about the cars. The I let him drive the goat and he let me frive the truck so he was cool. :afro:
TandA 01-27-2005, 10:54 AM Good kill. You guys need to continue the Pontiac kickin Mustangs a$$ tradition, Lol.
Foster'sguy 01-27-2005, 05:26 PM What was the last year for the Z-28? I was at a red light on Broward Blvd today and one pulled up next to me. The light went green and he decided to pace me for about 200 feet, then punches it. Now, I'm just about to shift into 3rd and I think, Aww WTF. While looking in my rear view- mistake #1, I nail it. Big SEG as I pull along side. Then mistake #2 - hit the rev limiter! Bang it into 3rd, start to catch him again, slam 4th and go by him. Probably he backed off, but it was fun. Any way, we come up on traffic and he pulls alonside, "nice car", says the young man. We exchange the thumbs up and parted ways.

'02?
TandA 01-27-2005, 11:12 PM 8-29-02 was the sad day that the final Z was produced.....a red T-Top to be exact. That was the 2nd to last F-Body produced. The final being a red Trans Am, not even a WS6. The plant has since been demolished.
Nocturn 01-28-2005, 12:12 AM it now makes a fantastic parking lot though.
Eitherway their spirit lives on in the GTO.
REDGLOW360 01-28-2005, 12:53 PM That was a very sad day indeed. Even though I got the goat I still think about the SS I never had. Kinda makes me teary-eyed. :( :(

Very true, which is why bringing the Monaro to the states was so critical - to preserve Pontiac's performance spirit.
Last night I checked out an '05, M6 in Cyclone Gray and man that thing was beautiful! The Cyclone Gray is more blue than I expected and it comes with red gauges and red stitching. I need to go look at it during the day, however I'm not ready to get rid of my '02 WS.6 - not sure if I ever will be. I've driven the GTO a few times now and they are totally different cars. Of course the GTO is more refined in every way, but the Trans Am is a ton-o-fun and gets looks and thumbs up all the time.
formula79 01-28-2005, 05:17 PM Dodge Cross Dresser?
Is there a more feminine car?
