Well, the $1500 owner's rebate expires today, and I'm not getting an '04 GTO. I had a couple of dealers down to around $24K with the rebate, but no go for me. The more I think about it, the more I feel GM will have as much trouble selling the '05s as they had the '04s, and I'd rather have the '05 even if it is a few grand more in the end.

If GM is really going to come out with the '06s in the fall with everything else, then I think they will end up with leftover '05s even with the production cuts.

Plus, I can buy it when the weather is more conducive to driving it. (We got 16" of snow last night).

If any of the people hooked into GM see any other incentives for the leftovers, please post them here. Especially that 1.9% or 0.0% financing...... I would still go for an '04 if I saw the right deal.

Unfortunately when the year changes over to 2005 the incentives on the old model year go by, bye. So the 2004s that are left will not get an incentives, although maybe through out the year 2005s will get some incentives. I don't think the 2005s are going to be around like the 2004s, a couple of reasons the 2005s are being produced in less numbers than the 2004s, and the car has upgrades on it and no news of 2006s having anything different. I might be wrong, I guess we will have to see.
