I can feel a rumble when I hold the shift nob. Is this normal? Remember, I came from Honda's an Acura's. My Goat has more torque than all of my previous cars put together.

Yes its normal, welcome to the board.

Alot of the vibrations is not just because of the torque but also because its a much larger engine, and also because it is pushrod engine which Honda doesn't use.

After driving the GTO for a few days, I wish I'd never asked that question.

There is a problem, pmajon, with a rattle or buzz in the shifter on hard acceleration that some people have experienced. Some dealers have replaced shifters under warranty, some (like mine) are saying it is "normal" (even though it is getting worse.) Rumor has it that GM is aware of this and that a TSB is likely forthcoming. It sounds to me, though, like you are just "pickin' up good vibrations"... B)

I have noticed this while I was on a test drive. When I stepped on it, the vibrations I felt from the shift knob matched the sound that came from the engine. I believed that it was normal and the vibrations was cool! However, if there is too much vibrations...it would be time to have it checked out.

Is it blinker fluid or turn signal fluid????

Does it need to be changed every 30,000 blinks or 30,000 turns?????

:P

It is blinker fluid

and you got to change it every 10000 blinks

I like to use the fully synthetic racing blinker fluid
it gives you those nice smooth blinks :D

I tried the racing fluid but didn't like it. Blinks so fast it looks like the light is on all the time.

I see, you must have went with the super high grade racing blinker fluid

I just go with the mid grade, it don't blink as fast

It's none of those things, it is the frebostatic valve, It is not opening all the way

No, no, no, you've all got it wrong. It's the Flux-Capacitor. Ask Marty, he'll tell ya.
