After speaking with my friends over at Cartek, the creators of the software are in the final phases of getting LS2 Edit ready. Cartek has been beta testing the software for some time(I wasn't allowed to release the info, sorry guys). So look for some wild heads/cam cars and stroker monsters hitting the streets soon as all the major tuners will have the software in just a few weeks.

Question, is it true that 05 GTO's and C6's with the LS2 all have 'torque managment', even with the M6? And any feedback on how much can be 'tweaked' from a stock motor via tuning?

Even the Ls1s and LS6s had torque management, so yes the 05s have it too. It has been getting more and more prevalent every model year since its inception around model year '97 or so. It is present on both the M6 and A4 cars.

TEK, I've read that the LS2-Edit is best left to performance tech type people. I know very little about the cars systems so would something like the Predator be better for a guy like me or would you say the LS2-Edit is just as simple to learn?

LS2 Edit is definitely more suited to individuals with background&experience with tuning. A Predator or other handheld programmer is defitely "safer" for you, but if you take the time to learn Edit, you will be able to maximize your vehicle's potential. Edit doesn't really have instructions, so it will take a while to learn. I've been toying with it for a while and probably use only 60% of the software's capabilities. Cartek does my dyno tuning, and I learn what I can from reading their tuning data. Once I upgrade my software to play with my GTO, I'll be spending more time wandering around in the PCM and learning as I go.
