Well finally back home in VA got to dulles around 9:30PM and got to my car to find about 3 inches of ice on the goat so I sat there for 40 min BSing with a bus driver about the 05 while cleaning it off. So finally after it was cleaned off I got on the road back home so here I am driving the speed limit and passing a 2004 or so Mustang GT and all the sudden when I am passing him at the speed limit he must have saw the GTO badge. And he just guns it for no apparent reason and im not one for street racing I would rather take it to the track but I was just angry after dealing with the airport and the 3 inches of ice so I said "what the heck I just crossed over 1100 miles lets see what she can do" . So here he is about 3 lengths ahead me and I down shift to 4th at 50mph just to get up beside him as soon as I get up beside him I down shift to 3rd and just just let her loose so once I am about 80 I just shut it off cause thats just way too fast for a public road. So once he catches up which he was about 3 lengths behind me now he saw me turning to get some gas and he pulls up next to me and of course its some teenager and says to me " Hey man lets run again this time dont use your NOS". I just told him " Well im fresh out of NOS buddy that wasnt nos that was an LS2" he says "what the hell is an LS2" :hysterical: my response "Corvette Z06 motor its in all of these 05 's so watch yourself cause you just bit off way more than you can chew" . So at this point im annoyed, cold and mad cause this kid doesnt know anything about cars and he has the guts to ask me(after looking at the car) "Hey lets run again" and I was just like "One I dont street race, two its late, and three come see me once you get a real car." So of course hes mad so he guns it out of the gas station and its no wonder why insurance rates are so high for young people(which I am one of them only 22). Cause of Jack@sses that cant keep there temper under control.
Then when I am almost home a cadillac deville I would say around 98ish with another young driver in it pulls up next to me and starts reving his engine at first I wasnt even going to waste the gas but I figured he was going to do it another time if he saw another goat. So the light turns green I let him go and im right beside him with about 1/4 throttle and so I just did about 3/4 throttle up to 60MPH and and had about 4 lengths on him. So it was a good night to break in the goat but I am sick of people that dont know anything about cars thinking that they have the fastest car then they pull up next to a sleeper and get taught a lesson.
By the way I am new to driving a high performance car with a manual so I cant shift worth a **** and I will be the first to admit that. But all these kills were with the TCS on.
