The second day I had my car I am stopping at a light when I see a 2002 ws6 and before I could get ready the light changed and he took off, he had at least a car length lead or more and I still got his a**, it was fun.....only thing thats hard to get used to is the wheel spin these cars have, my 97 vette had no spin and thats a little hard to get used to but then again this does have 400hp so I guess that makes a difference.

Well the Vettes LS1 was geared for the more higher RPM power, its got good torque but the engine makes almost no power down low.

The GTO engine has a different cam that is made to make more mid/low power along with the high end so it gives it more off the line punch. This unforunately can cause wheelspin.

I thought maybe it was due to those piece of chit BF Goodrich that came with the car, I have some Yokahomas on the way to replace these inferior tires, going to go 18 inch when are those 18's going to be available for the GTO?
